Economy: Boarded last, Exit last. Regular Coach Seats.

Economy+: More leg room, boarded before regular economy.

Business: From pre-flight drinks, to meals served on real china with proper knives and forks . Full flat-bed seats are the general standard for business class. Some airlines offer a chauffeured pick-up and drop-off service if you live within a certain distance from the airport, and most – if not all – have a dedicated lounge in the airport where you can fill up on free food and drinks.

First Class: Boarded first, Seperated from Coach, Access to First Class lounge. The standard of service is incomparable, with highly trained crew able to anticipate passengers. The standard of food leaps up a notch up too, with many menus and dishes created by Michelin starred chefs.

Yeild management is a variable pricing strategy, based on understanding, anticipating and influencing consumer behavior to maximize revenue.

Flight Types

Non Stop - Flights that do not stop en route.

Direct - Flights with stops but no change of aircraft.

Connection- Flight Which Requires change of aircraft en route.

Change of Gauge - Flight with a change of aircraft without a change in flight number (must explain to CM that they must change aircraft).

Routes of Trips

One Way - A trip from point A to point B without return to point A.

Round Trip - A trip from point A to point B and back to point A. Usually over the same route.

Open Jaw - A trip in which a passenger flies to one destination (A to B) and returns from another (C to A).

Circle Trip - Unlike a round trip with connecting flights, a circle trip includes stops of 1 or more days at different locations before returning to the point of origin.

**Remember This**

Code Share: When an airline uses someone elses plane. (I.E. New York - Paris will be an air france plane booked through Delta.), You will see Major Airline/Partner Airline (DL/AF) on the booking. Regular Availability will one show one airline code. These are booked through partnership airlines. Advise CM that there is a Code Share.

Commuter: A company that services smaller town. Usually lends planes to larger airports to bring flights to smaller locations. (appears as DL/**) You will advise operated by Minor Airline doing business as Major Airline.

***You CAN NOT book any flights to Cuba even if the CM is trying to route through Canada. American Express DOES NOT book travel to Cuba.***

The Card members name MUST match EXACTLY between the ID of the member and the name on the ticket. TSA will want it to match TO THE LETTER.

Limo Service
Limos are done only in passive form. You will contact the limo company (Empire or Carey) and get a quote, then book through the limo company. After the limo is booked you will create the "passive" in the limo section of Sabre.

Sabre
The Air Options button in Saturn will give you in options in the order of the way you will proceed in the call. Limo will only be booked through the manual booking option. To check for eligibility in PWP, use the conversion tool under the globe button. For Travel requirements you would be recommended to use visacentral.com/amex.
